Quantum QV-800 Digital Universal System

Quantum Medical Imaging has designed the QV-800 Digital Universal System, a world class direct digital imaging system for use in hospital emergency departments, traumatology, and all general radiology applications.

The QV-800 incorporates many advanced operational and ergonomic features, enabling any anatomical study, with virtually unlimited positioning. But the most unique aspect of the QV-800's design is the highly versatile integrated C-Arm design, which constant alignment between the x-ray tube and the image receptor, regardless of C-Arm tilt positions or image receptor angle.

Its extraordinary flexibility makes the system ideal for all patients, including those who are disabled or physically restricted.

Positioning Flexibility and Ease of Use

The remarkable flexibility of the QV-800 system makes patient positioning and system adjustment quick and easy. The x-ray tube source and the image receptor remain in constant alignment for fast and accurate imaging. The system's operator-friendly controls, dual speed motorized movements, and collision sensing electronics enable smooth, single-handed operation.

600-Pound Patient Capacity Mobile Exam Table with Floating Top Adjustment

The QV-800 Universal system simplifies recumbent exams through the use of Quantum's QT-711 Mobile Float-Top Table, which accommodates patients up to 600 pounds.

The QT-711 combines the convenience of a four-way float top table with the simplicity of a mobile table. The unique float top permits complete patient coverage with no adjustment required in either the subject or the table location. Generous longitudinal travel (15") provides substantial float capability. The table length of 85" and table width of 27.5" easily accommodates most patients, and a transverse travel capability of 5" permits effortless table adjustment.

40"-72" Variable Source-to-Image Distance

The QV-800 provides a variable source-to-image distance (SID) of 40" to 72" to accommodate a range of radiographic studies. Once the C-Arm is angled into the horizontal position, the x-ray tube assembly can be easily moved from 40" to 72" by using the operator hand control.

Skull Procedures through Lower Extremities, the QV-800 Does it All

The Exceptional versatility of the QV-800 permits virtually unlimited positioning. Vertical travel of the C-Arm is dual-speed motorized and easily allows for weight bearing exams on children (15" floor-to-focal-spot distance) and skull exams for adults.

The system's main C-Arm rotates 180° and includes auto stops at 0°, 90°, 135°, and -45°. The image receptor rotates within a range of +/- 45° to provide for various studies.

Quantum Verti-Q "Digital Series of Wall Stands

Quantum's "Verti-Q Digital" series of radiographic wall stands are specially designed to meet the unique needs of the Direct Digital Imaging (DR) system solutions. The various models offered address the facility's particular needs for patient positioning procedures.

"Verti-Q Tilt/Rotate" (QW-420-TRD, pictured)

The VertiQ Tilt/Rotate is a tilting wall stand with an adjustable receptor range of +90° to -15°, providing great flexibility for either upright, extremity or table-top exams. The receptor tilt movement is motorized through the use of a convenient remote control switch. Automatic stops are provided at the -90°, 0°, and -15° positions.

Vertical travel is electromagnetic through the use of a failsafe breaking design. It incorporates Quantum's exclusive EZ-Glide hand control, which actually rotates 105° for comfort in positioning the receptor. With its vertical travel range of 60 inches, it easily accommodates a variety of patient views, including upright skull through weight-bearing procedures. The center-of-film to floor distance is only 13.7 inches, making it perfect for lower extremities, even on children. An additional front mounted vertical control switch is provided to aid in positioning when using with a mobile floating top table.

Its receptor Rotate feature actually allows the technologist to rotate the image receptor 90° (with auto stops at 0° and 90°). This unique rotating design feature enables you to properly align the grid and AEC chambers for positioning when switching from upright studies to table-top and/or cross-table lateral patient exams. It is mainly designed for the Single Digital (DR) system solution, when using a Ceiling Support System, with a mobile floating top table.

Orex PcCR

The Orex ACL is configurable to meet most clinical applications. With its anatomical interface, you can set the system to produce extremely high quality images of any body part. you can import patient demographics directly from your RIS/HIS applications via a DICOM modality work list. Once the patient study is completed, the DICOM-compatible images can be transmitted over a network to a central PACS for review and storage, or archived locally on CD-ROMs or DVDs.

The Orex PcCR serves as the platform to address a wide variey of clinical applications and price points. Speed, resolution, and application software can easily be upgraded via a programmable key. The system can adapt and grow by adding new features and accessories to the same general purpose scanner.

Full Length Imaging

A digital full-length imaging solution combining a double length 14"x34" cassette with image composition software. Once exposed, the double ended cassette is loaded into the scanner for reading. The software automatically composes a single continuous full-length DICOM 3.0 image.

Mobile

Combine an Orex ACL scanner, reusable phospher plates and cassettes, a rugged laptop, and a portable x-ray unit, mount it on a van or truck and drive it right to the point of acquisition for a complete digital imaging solution on wheels.

AGFA 75.0 Digitizer

for Computed Radiography

Maximizing productivity for the complete range of clinical applications.

CR 75.0 is a multi-user digitizer featuring a unique drop-and-go buffer that eliminates waiting times and maximizes productivity.

CR 75.0 is a multi-application digitizer, benefiting from three different image resolution modes.

Highest productivity

The cassette buffer eliminates waiting times and allows for a continuous workflow within the department. Zero-button operation with automated cassette handling makes CR 75.0 a highly productive and user friendly system with a throughput of up to 115 plates an hour, depending on size and applications.

No Waiting

The CR 75.0 digitizer requires no manual interaction and all he user has to do is deposit tha cassettes in the input buffer (up to 10 cassettes). The digitizer automatically takes the cassettes from the input buffer and reads the demographic data from the memory on the cassette. It then scans the imaging plate, digitizes the image and returns the cassette to the output buffer for new exposures.

Full data

CR 75.0 reads imaging plates at a standard resolution of 6 pixels/mm. 10 pixels/mm high resolution capability is available for all image plate sizes. 20 pixel/mm resolution will be available for dedicated 18x24 cm and 24x30 cm extremities cassettes and plates.

Universal CR User Station
